We act for owners, operators, contractors or subcontractors involved in the construction, expansion, operation or demolition of major infrastructure or energy and resources projects in Western Australia.
We help clients achieve significantly better outcomes at all stages of the construction process; From determining the most suitable contracting methodology, negotiating and entering into construction contracts, through carrying out the work (with a keen focus on reducing the risk of a dispute, but if unavoidable, helping our client prepare and position itself well for the dispute resolution process ahead) and finally resolving any disputes to achieve the best outcome for our client. This may include acting for our client in making or responding to an adjudication application, arbitration (domestic or international), litigation, mediation, conciliation or expert determination, or a combination of some of these processes. We also assist with serious incident investigations, including coronial inquiries, and prosecutions.
